Vent Requirement

Depending on where your current fireplace is located or where you want to put a fireplace in your home, we have both direct vent or vent free fireplaces and inserts. Our Sandusky Hearth & Home team will determine the vent requirements you need and help you in your fireplace selection.

• Direct Vent Gas Fireplace - With the flip of a switch, we offer direct vent gas fireplaces that provide the look and warmth of a wood burning fireplace. And for the ultimate in heating convenience, we offer many fireplace options with a remote control.
• Vent Free - An efficient solution to a fireplace located on an interior wall or in a basement is a vent free gas fireplace.
• Vented or Vent Free Gas Logs - An existing wood burning fireplace can easily be converted to a gas fireplace with our large variety of vented and vent free gas logs options.

Fireplace Inserts

Fireplace inserts don't require major fireplace renovations and they can be quickly installed in a day. When you're ready to convert an old wood fireplace, Sandusky Hearth & Home has a variety of efficient gas or wood models to update the look of your home.

Size

During a new build design phase, you have endless options in choosing the size of fireplace for the space you're building; however, when you're updating your home's existing fireplace, you have two options. You can either consider a fireplace with similar measurements or you may have to undergo a slight renovation to accommodate a larger or smaller fireplace or insert.
